What is the CONUASS Salary Scale?
CONUASS covers academic staff at federal universities in Nigeria — from Graduate Assistant (CONUASS 1) through to Professor (CONUASS 7). It is negotiated between the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government. Following the 2024 minimum wage adjustment, CONUASS figures were revised upward. In addition to basic salary, academic staff receive Earned Academic Allowances (EAA) when the ASUU-FGN agreement is active.
