Federal Polytechnic, Oko — popularly known as OKOPOLY — is a federal government-owned polytechnic located in Oko, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State. Its origins trace to 1979, when the Oko Progressive Union established a College of Arts and Science, largely catalysed by the patronage of Dr Alex Ekwueme, a former Vice President of Nigeria and son of Oko. The institution was formalised as the Anambra State Polytechnic, Oko, through Edict No. 12 of 1985, and was subsequently taken over by the Federal Government in 1993, at which point it was renamed Federal Polytechnic, Oko. OKOPOLY operates three campuses: the main campus at Oko (89 hectares), the Ufuma campus (52 hectares), and the Atani campus (40 hectares). It is one of the most strategically situated polytechnics in Nigeria, surrounded by the industrial and commercial hubs of Nnewi, Awka, Onitsha and Aba. The polytechnic has signed memoranda of understanding with several universities within and outside Nigeria, and operates 8 academic schools. Dr Chioma Irene Awuzie serves as Rector as of 2026.

Gozie Anyachebelu Oragram Polytechnic (GOZPOLY) is a private polytechnic established in 2024 by the Anglican Niger Diocese of the Church of Nigeria, with its permanent site in Oraukwu, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State. The institution commenced with a take-off campus in Onitsha, the commercial capital of Anambra State. The polytechnic was publicly announced by the Diocesan Bishop, Rt Rev Dr Owen Nwokolo, on September 15, 2024, at All Saints Cathedral, Onitsha, during the collation and installation of archdeacons and canons of the Niger Diocese. It is named in honour of Chief Gozie Anyachebelu, a prominent philanthropist associated with the Oragram community. GOZPOLY is listed in the NBTE 2025 Directory of Accredited Programmes, confirming its institutional recognition. The polytechnic was founded on principles of innovation, excellence and character development, with the Anglican Diocese emphasising its commitment to empowering students with knowledge, skills and values for career success.

Grundtvig Polytechnic is a private residential polytechnic located in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, and is the first private polytechnic in Anambra State. It was founded by the Grundtvig Movement of Nigeria and is inspired by the "Education for Life" philosophy of Bishop N.F.S. Grundtvig of Denmark, after whom the institution is named. The Grundtvig Movement also operates the highly regarded Grundtvig International Secondary School in Oba — repeatedly ranked among the top ten schools in Nigeria by WAEC results, and winner of the 2020 Presidential Award as the Overall Best Private Secondary School in Nigeria. Grundtvig Polytechnic received NBTE approval on February 18, 2019, following a rigorous resource inspection, and its operating licence was formally presented by the Minister of Education in Abuja on April 29, 2019. The polytechnic is a residential institution and part of an international network of Grundtvig-inspired schools. It operates three schools: Engineering, Applied Sciences, and Management Sciences.

Anambra State Polytechnic (ANSPOLY), located in Mgbakwu, Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State, is the state government-owned polytechnic serving Anambra State. The institution has its roots as the Anambra State College of Agriculture, which was established under Anambra State Law No. 2007 (ANHA/LAW/2008/07), effective from June 14, 2007, and was accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in that same year. In 2017, the Anambra State House of Assembly upgraded the institution to a full polytechnic through the Anambra State Polytechnic Law 2017, giving birth to ANSPOLY in its current form. The polytechnic is situated approximately 8 kilometres from Awka, the Anambra State capital, making it accessible from the state's major commercial and administrative centres. ANSPOLY is notable for retaining its strong agriculture school alongside newer engineering, management and science programmes, reflecting its unique institutional history.
