New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) is an INEC-registered political party founded by former Kano governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. The party is the political vehicle for the Kwankwasiyya movement — a grassroots political following in Kano and northwestern Nigeria. In the 2023 elections, NNPP's Abba Kabir Yusuf won the Kano State governorship, defeating the incumbent APC governor. Kwankwaso ran for president on the NNPP platform in 2023.
