He represented Lagos West in the Senate from 2015 to 2023, serving alongside notable colleagues. In 2023, he moved to Ogun State's political space, winning the Ogun West Senatorial seat under APC with 112,887 votes — defeating the PDP candidate Ganiyu Dada Obanibasiri.
