Senator Olugbenga Justus Daniel, popularly known as Gbenga Daniel, is a veteran Nigerian politician and statesman. He served as Governor of Ogun State for two terms from 2003 to 2011 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
After his time as governor, he remained active in politics and later aligned with the All Progressives Congress (APC). In the 2023 general elections, he won the Ogun East Senatorial seat with 115,147 votes, defeating the PDP candidate with a comfortable margin.
