Mr. Oladimeji Oresanya is a Nigerian geologist and environmental management specialist from Sagamu, Ogun State. He holds a B.Sc in Geology from the University of Ibadan and an M.Sc in Environmental Management and Ecology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He has also completed an executive programme at Harvard Kennedy School.
He has worked as a consultant to UN-Habitat/UNEP and advised federal and state governments on waste management policy. He served as Managing Director and CEO of LAWMA, the Lagos Waste Management Authority, before returning to Ogun State.
He served as Special Adviser to the Governor of Ogun State before being nominated and confirmed as Commissioner for Environment in 2023.
