Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (CON), popularly known as MOB, is a Nigerian lawyer, human rights activist and politician representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District in the Senate since 2019. He is currently serving as Senate Majority Leader of the 10th National Assembly, having assumed that office on July 4, 2023. Born on July 29, 1963 in Iyin-Ekiti, he previously served as Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Social Development, Lagos State (2003–2007) and Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Lagos State (2007–2011) under Governor Bola Tinubu.
