She is the first female Deputy Governor of Ogun State. She has served alongside Governor Dapo Abiodun through two consecutive terms, having been re-elected in 2023. She succeeded Yetunde Onanuga, who served as Deputy Governor under Governor Ibikunle Amosun from 2015 to 2019.
