👤 About Sen. Binos Dauda Yaroe
Binos Dauda Yaroe was born on 1 January 1955 in Wagole, Ribadu Ward of Mayo-Belwa Local Government Area, Adamawa State. He attended L.E.A Primary School, Mayo-Belwa (1962–1969) and Government College Kaduna, graduating in 1974 with Division One in the West African School Certificate Examination. He earned a B.Sc in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1978, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with ICAN in 1993.
He joined the College of Preliminary Studies (now Adamawa State Polytechnic), Yola, as an Accountant in 1980, rising to Chief Accountant and Head of the Bursary Department by 1987. He was appointed Secretary of Zing Local Government Area by Gongola State's Military Governor in January 1988. He contested unsuccessfully for the Adamawa South senatorial seat in 2015 before winning the seat in 2019.
Re-elected in 2023, Yaroe chairs the Senate Committee on States and Local Government Affairs in the 10th Senate and serves as President of the National Assembly Legislators Fellowship. An ordained pastor, he is known for constituency healthcare outreaches that have reportedly served over 130,000 people across Adamawa South, alongside rural water, youth empowerment and education initiatives.
