Nsikan Linus Nkan is a Nigerian accountant and politician from Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. He earned a B.Sc in Accounting from the University of Uyo, an MBA from Ekiti State University, and a PhD in Accounting from the University of Uyo, in addition to executive education at the London Business School and Harvard Business School.
He was appointed Akwa Ibom State Accountant General in 2015, serving until 2016, when he became Commissioner for Finance — a position he held continuously for nearly nine years, spanning both the Udom Emmanuel and Umo Eno administrations. In February 2025, as part of Governor Eno's cabinet reshuffle, he was reappointed Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning.
