Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde (born 25 December 1957) is the Executive Governor of Oyo State, serving his second term since 2023. A trained electrical engineer from the University of Lagos, he worked with Shell Petroleum Development Company and later founded Makon Group Nigeria Limited. He was elected on 9 March 2019 and sworn in as the 28th Governor of Oyo State on 29 May 2019. He was re-elected in 2023. His administration focuses on four pillars: Education, Healthcare, Security and Agribusiness.
